Terms & Conditions

These are the Terms & Conditions for the ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme run by Roots Insurance Brokers Limited (we/us).

1. This offer is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over – except for employees of Roots Insurance Brokers Limited, employees of third parties who have contractual agreements in place with us, and individuals who have contractual agreements in place with us.
2. You cannot refer yourself.
3. There is no limit to the number of referrals that can be made.
4. There is only one reward made for each new customer introduced.
5. The reward is only valid if a referral is not an existing customer or prospect of Roots Insurance Brokers Limited.
6. The reward is sent within 14 days once the individual referred to us has purchased from us, and they are outside of any cooling off period (or similar).
7. The referral must have been made and received by us prior to the individual being referred having started the process of speaking to us about any potential purchase or enquiry.
8. For every purchase made by someone referred to us, you receive £5 for every £50 they spend. As an example, if someone spends £354.50 then you receive £35 in e-vouchers.
9. The reward is an online eVoucher issued electronically by Roots Insurance Brokers Limited using the VEX Rewards online platform.
10. The reward cannot be exchanged for cash or any other medium of currency etc.
11. The reward can, at our discretion, be exchanged for a discount off of any products you purchase from us.
12. Each voucher issued will include a 6 month validity period. After which time, any voucher will be unable to be redeemed. We will not be responsible for any voucher(s) which fall outside of this period and will not accept responsibility for replacing expired vouchers.
13. If any details cannot be substantiated then we cannot be held accountable.
14. If the same referral is received from multiple sources, the reward will be issued to the referral that was received first.
15. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
16. This promotion is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
17. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
18. If there is a dispute in relation to this referral scheme, the decision of Roots Insurance Brokers Limited is final.
19. This referral scheme is effective from 1st December 2021.
20. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this offer we reserve the right to end or suspend the offer or amend these terms and conditions.
21. Roots Insurance Brokers Limited reserve the right to change and/or withdraw this scheme at any time, and without notice.
