Running a business comes with a lot of responsibilities and administration tasks, and often not enough time in the day to get everything done given you spend most of it on the road. That’s why we’re here to help you with your courier insurance, no matter if you drive a van, car, motorbike or scooter we ensure you get a policy that meets your exact needs.
We recognise that light haulage vehicles cover more mileage than standard vehicles, and that as a result they’re at a greater risk of accidents and theft. Standard policies will often not cover vehicles that are used for the carriage of goods and/or in connection with your work, meaning its crucial you get the appropriate insurances in place.
Our cover provides you with peace of mind that should the worst happen you’ll be covered and be able to continue working. It’s not just your vehicle that we can cover, we can cover the liabilities, goods, breakdown, young drivers, and for almost all trades and professions on a single or fleet basis.
Choose from fully comprehensive (the premium cover, includes cover for damage to your vehicles even if it’s your fault), third party fire & theft (same as third party only but covers your vehicles for fire damage and theft) and third party only (only covers damage to other people and their property/vehicles).
This covers the goods in transit in your vehicles, making it vital for a courier. Items that you are delivering are covered for loss, damage and theft, providing they meet all the policy terms and conditions i.e. they are packed correctly when being loaded into the vehicles.
It’s not just single vehicles we cover, we can also cover entire fleets. We work with you to create a bespoke policy that ensures you keep your business on the move. We recognise that no business is the same, that’s why you get a policy created that covers exactly what you need.
A standard non-commercial policy usually only covers social commuting and possibly business commuting to places of work, not the goods/materials being transported nor a vehicle being used to transport them.
